Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Statement

QHSE & ISO Compliance Statement

Official Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental protection standards governing all offshore vessel operations, subsea diving, stevedoring, and chemical transport.

1. Executive Commitment to Safety & Zero Harm

EL.CHU Oil & Gas Maritime Ltd is committed to conducting all offshore and onshore operations in a manner that protects the health and safety of our workforce, vessel crews, port personnel, and the marine ecosystem. Target Zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI) is embedded into every pre-job hazard analysis (JHA) and toolbox talk.

2. ISO 9001:2015 & ISM Code Accreditations

Our Safety Management System (SMS) is audited annually by independent maritime classification societies. We operate under strict compliance with the International Safety Management (ISM) Code, MARPOL 73/78 Annexes, and NIMASA port safety directives.

3. Environmental Protection & Spill Response

Preventing marine pollution is a mandatory operational requirement. All vessel bunkering, Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfers, and hazardous chemical handling procedures utilize class-certified containment booms, oil recovery skimmers, and IMDG compliant containment protocols.

4. Stop Work Authority (SWA)

Every employee, crew member, commercial diver, and subcontractor working under EL.CHU Maritime has the absolute right and duty to exercise Stop Work Authority whenever an unsafe act or condition is observed without fear of reprisal.
